Hey y'all, Has anyone had any success in getting an Infopass appointment during the pandemic? Personally, my ROC 18-month extension letter is about to expire, and thus so is my drivers' license, which will be very problematic come October. I was trying to book an appointment so I can get the I-551 stamp to renew my license ahead of time, however USCIS doesn't seem to count that as an emergency, which I think is ridiculous I'm trying to avoid it ever becoming a dire emergency (it's already an emergency to get my license renewed very soon as it is), but they seem to be forcing me to wait until it is and I can no longer drive anywhere on my own (including to work!!!). You know what would be great? If they just sent out refreshed 12-month extension letters to everyone who is pending automatically.

I have a Canadian driver's license, but I've been here almost 6 months so I don't believe I should be driving with that (I don't think I meet residency requirements for that insurance anymore). I have a pending AOS application and we have our NOA receipts and are awaiting a biometrics appointment. They request SSN denial letter, proof of residency (bills, government letters, etc.), and proof of lawful residence (at least 12 months). It looks like the RMV accepts I-797A, which is based on the I-94, but they want proof that you can be here for at least 12 months lawfully (and my I-94 expires in September). I've contacted them to see if they will accept NOA, I-797 for I-130 petition (approved) and I-485 application (pending), but it will probably be some time before I hear back from them. Anyone from MA have success getting a driver's license with NOA receipts as proof of lawful residence? Thanks.

How long will they keep k1 on the backburner |

Does anyone think the k1 will actually go through for all of us waiting or are they going to keep it on the backburner until it gets removed as an option? Will they at least continue processing the ones who have been submitted? Even if we do get our k1s, will the USCIS even be around to submit our AOS? If we all get told no more k1s and we get married and file for a spousal visa, will it take years due to there being an almost non-existent USCIS? I am checking these boards every single day and not a speck of good news ...for months. I'm always checking the news each day and it's always something really bad about USCIS shutting down or the post office..etc. I've never been this depressed and heartbroken in my life. I regret filing a k1 more than anything and I'm sure I'm not alone. Does anyone see any light at the end of the tunnel? I just want some good news for once, if even really small.

So, went into local SSA office in Jan. They said they could not produce a number cuz immigration would forward my request when my EAD was ready. EAD was approved in July. They DID NOT forward my request from a SSN and I had to go back to my local SSA office. I brought my passport, EAD card, marriage certificate. That was 2 weeks ago. They said it is still pending verification from USCIS. I have since lost the job I had lined up for not being able to produce a SSN. What more verification could they possibly need? I was there. In person. With original docs. My Senate office has proven to be useless, as has the Manager at the SSA office. Claims there s nothing he can do , but wait. anyone else having the same issue I m having? I literally have no one left to turn to!! *rant over* thank you

Hi everyone, just wanted to confirm and see if CSPA applies to me. Here are the details: Visa: F3 (Family-based, child of principal applicant) Birthday: Feb 2000 (currently 20 years 6 months old) Priority date: July 2008 Approval date: April 2010 Approval - Priority ~ 1 year 8 months "Current" PD: June 2008 -> Expecting July 2008 by Oct or Nov of this year. Keep in mind - I have already filled out DS 260 and all the civil documents (we are documentarily qualified at this point). Does this mean my age will be frozen once the visa becomes current? If this is the case, is there anything I need to do on my end? Sorry if this was already answered somewhere.
