I can submit I-751 in just about two weeks, and I haven't received anything. I submitted the change of address forms about 10 months ago, and haven't received any sort of confirmation. Should I have? Is it possible that USCIS doesn't have our updated address (which has a PO Box as a mailing address on top of the physical address, adding to the possible confusion). If my change of address forms were undelivered, do I just fill out I-751 like nothing happened with our new address? Sort of related: has anyone had issues with different mailing addresses? That is, USCIS sending notices to the physical address, rather than a mailing address? I have the option to put my physical/mailing address as: 123 Name Street - 456 Where 123 Name Street is my physical address, and 456 is the PO Box. Alternatively, I have the PO Box as a mailing address. Not sure if it's better to do the "- 456" or keep them separate. If it gets cut off, I won't get the mail.

Question about DS160 - has anyone filed an immigrant petition on your behalf? |

Hello everyone, so my fianc and I starting to look at the DS160 and were wondering what to put for this question: has anyone filed an immigrant petition on your behalf? About 10 years ago, my fianc s aunt had filed a petition for her sister (fianc s mom) and her family to come to the US. That is still in process and they have not yet received approval on that. However, my fianc has also aged out for that case since he s now over 21. Would this be an issue for our fianc visa? Would we just put yes and then explain in the commentary that the prior case is still in process but he has already aged out? Thank you in advance.

My husband and I are currently preparing our documents to apply for the spousal CR1 visa online. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience and/or tips for filing this initial petition online? I'm confused whether we need to provide all of our supporting evidence/documents when filing the initial petition online or when I go for my interview in Montreal? Seems like both but do people tend to bring more proof to their interview? I should mentioned - we are doing consular processing. I am a Canadian citizen and my husband is an American citizen. If anyone has any advice for consular processing as well, it would be much appreciated :) So far for supporting evidence we have: - Our marriage certificate
- Joint bank account in the USA
- Joint credit cards in the USA
- Utility bills with both of our names on it (electric, internet etc.)
- Letters, texts and cards we've sent to each other
- Lease with both our named on it in NY (although I do not live in the states currently)
- Affidavits from family and friends
- Google doc with years worth of photos of us together, clearly labeled with date and where we were
- Google doc of flights to and from Canada and the US, hotel stays and vacation packages
- Proof of my legal name change in Canada for all government documents -
- Proof of my legal name change for my dental hygiene/RDH licence and malpractice insurance
-
Any additional proof we should be including? Your advice/guidance is very much appreciated! Thank you!

I m not sure where to go at this point but I m desperate to find some hope. My fianc and I are in the K1 Visa process (he is from Canada, I m from the states), and have received our NOA2 in early June. I ve called the NVC and they said they have a case number for our case but the US Consulate isn t taking K1 visa cases (So we are just stuck there). The consulate s website confirms that, infact they are mainly doing just spousal visas. I m super discouraged that our visa won t come in time for our wedding this Spring, and we just desire to see each other so badly. We haven t seen each other since March and it s painful since he only lives 5 1/2 hours away from me. To me the visa is like the one thing I m hoping will allow him to move here even with the boarder closer. We cannot visit each other since our relationship is not considered exempt but even if it was we don t have 14 days in either of our jobs to quarantine in Canada. I m here to seeking to find people in similar situations and if people have heard from the Montr al US consulate.
