When I filed the I-129F, it was pre-Covid and I selected India - Mumbai as the site for the K1 interview for my fiance. When we filled out the D-160 we once again requested it for Mumbai. She is an Indian citizen which is why we had chosen Mumbai as the interview site; however, she is in Canada for the past few years and is there now on her work permit. Is it possible to have the paperwork sent from the NVC (it is still there due to the Covid delay) to Canada instead of India? The Canadian K1 process seems to be restarting while there is no idea when India will reopen. If it is still possible to change the interview site, would she even be allowed to interview in Canada as she is not a Canadian citizen or have Canadian PR.

I am filling out my N400 application and have a bit of a question on what to put name wise. So I have a middle name, that is on my birth certificate from Canada, but I never really used it in Canada, my drivers license, passport, etc. only have my first and last name. When I did the I-130 I did put my middle name on everything but my visa, and my PR card are all just with first and last name, as I am pretty sure they just match what is on my Canadian passport. So what should I put on the N400? Do I put middle name? Do I put anything under other names used? All my documents in the US (drivers license etc.) are only with my First and Last Name.

Good Evening, I have been on this forum for the past seven years. In my professional life I work with children in my community. Today I came across the following situation: While meeting with a minor child this morning I was informed that the child and a minor sibling were brought to the USA four years ago from Canada and have not went back since. Parents passed in Canada. The guardian stated that if the children would have been left in Canada they would have lived on the streets. Since they are minors, I assume they do not accrue unlawful presence till 18 years old? Is there any way for them to get LPR status? I believe the grandparents, who are LPR s, have guardianship/custody of the children.

Just got an email from my lawyers assistant, saying to also include the following in my I-751 application. - Copies of passports (petitioner and beneficiary)
- Two passport photos (I am in NY- not overseas)
- Copy of I-94 Departure record
- Copy of marriage certificate
- Copy of social security cards (petitioner and beneficiary)
- Letters from employers and paystubs (petitioner and beneficiary)
- W2's (petitioner and beneficiary)
None of these things things are on the I-751 evidence list. Am I missing something (like an entire page of instructions?) or did she email me the wrong list? It looks like the list that I used for my I-485 interview. My application window opens TODAY and I'm now doubting all the hard work that I've been doing. Ahhh!

Hi all! I am petitioning for my husband to move from Canada to Texas. We have been DQ as of June 2020 and we know there's a long wait ahead. I have dual citizenship with Canada/USA and lived in Canada my whole life until we started this process. We were under the impression that I was required to domicile in the States to be able to sponsor him - we now know that I only needed the proven INTENT to domicile *face palm* Now we have spent a year apart and are not looking forward to another 8+ month wait for his interview. We are considering waiting this out together in Canada. I would maintain my US address, bank account, vehicle title, etc...but I would be leaving my job. However, we do have a joint sponsor who is our Affidavit of Support. Will this be a problem? Does any one have any thoughts/opinions? Thank you!
