It is so sad that we have reached part 4 of this thread. I'm wishing this madness comes to end soon.

Also a Reminder that this thread is for support and updates for Montreal cases only.

Nightmare to get results

Hello folks.

I had my medical exam done October 22nd, and on the 29th they said they sent the results to the embassy. On October 31st I got my interview, everything went well but they sadly didn"t have the results, only the vaccination records. So of course, they issued me the 221g, telling me not to worry about it and that they would issue the visa as soon as they receive the results. They didn't tell me to do anything, that they would be reaching out to where I did my medical exam. November 19th, I emailed them again to know if they receive the results and called the clinic where I did my medical. Clinic said they messed up and actually sent me the results instead of sending it to the embassy...sigh. Confirmed then that they were sending them. 3 days later I called them to confirm they did, and they again confirmed me they did it. Today, the embassy answered my email, 3 weeks later saying they still do not have my results... I don't know what to do at this point. I'll be calling the clinic tomorrow once again but I was wondering if I can email the results I received myself? I did try but I'm unsure if they 100% want the clinic to be the ones to send it to them/. I really need some advice.. It's been 40 days since my interview and it's really getting discouraging since I've been waiting for over 2 years to get to this point. The US Embassy in question is Montreal,Canada.

3, How sensible to decide to travel before Christmas to start living with my spouse in USA in order to make the process faster or rather complete it while in USA?

Hello,

My wife and I are applying for removal of conditions on her 2 year green card. We were going to submit the following. Is this good evidence? She came in May 2023 and we will be submitting in Feb.

  • Bank statements since Aug 23 because this is when she got her first job in the US. This also shows mortgage payments going out every month from transfers from our individual accounts.
  • Drivers Licenses with same address
  • Home owner insurance with both names
  • Car insurance with both names
  • Shared Health insurance dental vision (some are from my employer, some from her employer)
  • Utility bills with both names
  • Joint credit card with both names
  • Joint Tax returns
  • Beneficiary documents from both of us where we have listed each other as beneficiaries on retirement accounts
  • Pictures of anniversaries, bdays, family visits to in-laws, her family at our house in NJ, My family at her house in her country, Christmas pics with extended family etc. was thinking of sharing like 10-15 pics of basically us doing things with each other s families and celebrating events like anniversaries, bdays, vacations
  • Flights together/Trips (will also have pics from some of these)

The house I had already purchased before she moved to the United States and the only way I can add her is to refinance.

Same thing with the car loan, we used my credit as her credit was too new when we bought the car in December 2023 however she transferred extra money that month to our joint account to help cover the mortgage so we can have a bigger down payment on the car. Only way to add her to the loan would be to refinance.

Hi,

I wanted to piggyback off this topic since my case is somewhat similar. My husband is the petitioner and we have a child that was born in the US. I live in Canada with our child, does my husband count our kid as a dependent? Also his mom recently relocated to his city and he s supporting her while she finds her own place and a job. Does he also include her as a dependent since she is currently a part of his household for the time being?
