US Immigration from Canada

So I called a month or 2 ago and asked what the status of my case was and they said it was waiting to go to the embassy and they couldn't mail anything until the embassy opened up. I just called today to see if it was sent to the embassy because of the recent announcement that k1 is starting to process again. They told me my case went in administrative processing on June 16. It arrived at the NVC June 15th. He said he couldn't give me a time frame for when it would be out of administrative processing and said it wasn't guaranteed to go to the embassy. Is this just a normal phase in the process?

Hello everyone, so my fianc and I starting to look at the DS160 and were wondering what to put for this question: has anyone filed an immigrant petition on your behalf? About 10 years ago, my fianc s aunt had filed a petition for her sister (fianc s mom) and her family to come to the US. That is still in process and they have not yet received approval on that. However, my fianc has also aged out for that case since he s now over 21. Would this be an issue for our fianc visa? Would we just put yes and then explain in the commentary that the prior case is still in process but he has already aged out?

So I m curious. My case has been at the NVC since early April. The State Department gave permission to start phased reopening for embassies over a month ago now But I ve only seen a few embassies actually start processing K1s, such As New Zealand, Jordan, Bolivia, and Taiwan. Are there any other countries I m missing that started? I ve also heard that Jordan later removed the k1 visa processing after they put it initially. So what s going on? Are there ANY countries that are actually processing?

What is the process to extend the expiration date of our NOA2? And do we contact USCIS or the NVC for this?

Does anyone think the k1 will actually go through for all of us waiting or are they going to keep it on the backburner until it gets removed as an option? Will they at least continue processing the ones who have been submitted? Even if we do get our k1s, will the USCIS even be around to submit our AOS? If we all get told no more k1s and we get married and file for a spousal visa, will it take years due to there being an almost non-existent USCIS?

I am checking these boards every single day and not a speck of good news ...for months. I'm always checking the news each day and it's always something really bad about USCIS shutting down or the post office..etc. I've never been this depressed and heartbroken in my life. I regret filing a k1 more than anything and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Does anyone see any light at the end of the tunnel? I just want some good news for once, if even really small.
