B1/B2 Validation Dates & COVID-19

My mother-n-law has received a b1/b2 visa that's valid 2/28/20 to 5/26/20. She was supposed to come last weekend but the airlines rescheduled, cancelled, rescheduled, and cancelled her tickets again. I'm thinking there is no way she will get here by 5/26 because of the travel limitations/chaos caused by the Pandemic. Should that happen, how can I get the b1/b2 validation date extended? Or, say she get here before the expiration date, her daughter (my wife) is about to have a baby, what can she do to persuade the CBP Officer to give her at least 3 months duration-of-stay so she can help my wife while I'm at work?

Are AP and EAD cards still processed even after your AoS interview is scheduled?

My wife's green card interview was scheduled for April 21 and then canceled.

Her EAD and AP applications are still pending.

Does USCIS continue to process EAD and AP applications even after green card interviews are scheduled and right up until the day when green cards are granted?

Logically, it would make some sense that they stop working on EAP and AP applications, which allow someone to work/travel pending a green card, once a green card interview is scheduled. It seems like a waste of time/effort to have a USCIS officer working on someone's eligibility for AP/EAD just a few days before that applicant's green card interview.

Is there a cutoff when they stop working on AP/EAP because the green card interview is imminent which moots the AP/EAD request?

USCIS created an online account for you?

So my wife s AOS interview was cancelled (here on K-1) like many, and is now in a status of ready to be scheduled again.

Since we don t know when that will be, we filed for her EAD/AP renewal, since that is now less than 6 months from expiring.

First we received a letter for the I-131 receipt. I was worried since last time we got both letters together.

A few days later, we got a letter for both I-765 and I-131 saying they are being processed and will be re-using her biometric information. She also got a another letter for I-765 which just says that USCIS created an account for her and gives an activation code. However she already has an account, created a long time ago.

Wondering if we should activate this other account? Is there any problem if she will have 2 accounts now? Although I ve never seen anything different from her logged in account than just checking case status online.

As a side note, I m a bit miffed that my USPS informed delivery did not show these 2 letters coming in. I ve gotten emails about all previous USCIS letters.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has gotten letters about USCIS creating an online account, even if they already have one.

Thank you very much.

Question about NOA2 sent to embassy.

I don't know if anyone would know for sure, but I'll ask anyway. Sorry if my question sounds confusing.

So we received our NOA2 and I got an email that it was sent out to the embassy in Cambodia, my question is since they are not currently doing interviews, I have sent the embassy an email but have not heard a response yet in regards to the DS-160, considering the pandemic going on, is this something we should still file now and submit? Her country is currently closed to any travelers coming in, and I don't think the interview would be anytime soon, so we don't know when we should file the DS-160. I'm guessing it might be embassy specific? If they are not processing petitions for interviews, would filing the DS-160 now be pointless, since they won't have a case to apply it to until they start preparing for interviews again?

Has anyone else had their NOA2 sent to an embassy even though they are currently not doing interviews?

When I called NVC for my case # the lady said that they were not sending petitions to the embassy, but a few days later I received email notification that it was sent out. I know that consular discretion they can extend the validity period, which I also asked about in my email to the embassy to see if I have to request that personally or they do it automatically.
