Not attending interview because of entry restrictions |

I fully intend on going to the interview with my fiance when that time comes. It s been our plan from the beginning because - at least in Cambodia - it appears to be a positive thing to the IO. However, with the current virus situation, there s always a possibility I may not be allowed back into the country for the interview. So I have two questions regarding this: 1. Would having evidence of an appointment help in getting an exception from the Cambodian Embassy in the US for an entry visa? 2. If I can t make it, would the embassy be any more understanding than normal of the fact that I wasn t legally able to enter the country and not count that against us? We have a very strong case otherwise, lived together here for over a year, lots of quality evidence, etc. A lot of the reviews of the American Embassy in Phnom Penh say that both parties being there is highly recommended but my hands are tied if there is another entry ban.

Good morning! Quick background. K1 visa completed and approved in late January. She moved to the USA the first week of February. We had until May 2 to get married. We got married March 20th, 2020. Cook County Clerk's office closed on March 17, 2020 due to nCOVID-19. We sent our documents by mail since the office was closed after we got married. So, they have our finalized/signed marriage document. We went to apply for an adjustment of status. However, this requires a copy of the marriage certificate. I can call the Cook County Clerk's office but I cannot get a hold of a live person. You cannot order a copy over the phone. You cannot order a copy online. The website doesn't say when they will open. I reached out on Facebook and they give the same canned response that they are closed. I mailed in a request form for them to send me a copy of my marriage certificate. I included a check for the amount needed to get 2 copies of it. They have not replied to my mail. They have not deposited my check. On May 2 her K1 visa expired. We have no documentation to show we are married. I did make a copy of the document we submitted in March showing we were married, where we were married, and that we both signed the document along with the man who married us. What can I do at this point? I called USCIS and spoke with an immigration officer. They don't tell you what to do. Should I send her back home or wait it out until Cook County Clerk's office opens again? Should we go get married in another state that's opened?

I logged into my USCIS account and can only find a place to update my (petitioner) physical address. My beneficiary moved a few hours away from the physical address I listed on the 129. My mailing/physical address has not changed, I already got my NOA1. Do I need to update his address and if so, where do I do this?

We filed for my wife's I485 AOS back in late April and received an RFE (actually for the I864 -Affidavit of Support). It's a super simple fix - I need respond with my birth certificate. My question is do they want a copy of my BC or the original document. Thanks!
