Very frustrating experience with this new form... The new form I-944 is requiring documentation of income as well as history of using public benefits, on top of credit reports/scores, degrees, debt, even proof of fluency in languages native to countries of origin, etc... The I-944 instructions say that assets can be used in lieu of income if the minimum isn't met...but it's ambiguous whether assets are required to be documented independent of income. It also doesn't say that asset documents are optional either. So what in the h e double hockey sticks do they want?! Does anyone have any experience or clue as to whether asset documents are absolutely required? Thanks...

Hello everyone, I sent my package on March 17th after getting rejected due to I-944 and got my NOA1 for I-485, I-131 and I-785 through mail March 26th. I haven't received any updates about biometrics appointments or anything related to next steps so I was wondering if that's actually how it goes or if I should call USCIS for some guidance. Thank you,

I resubmitted my wife's I 485 a couple weeks ago, just realized I didn't include her arrival departure record. Just her most recent i94 showing when and where she arrived here... Is this gonna be a rejection level problem? My wife co-signed my lease when she arrived but not much evidence beyond just that...also included evidence of her health insurance coverage with me and credit report...

I am finalizing my K -1 packet, and hope to send it out tomorrow. I have a few questions In the I-129f I'm not sure what the Item number I need to input in Part 8 additional information- Employment history for beneficiary, Page number 5 Part number 2 Item number 16-23b .....? Based on reading the directions I have item number 16-23b? Not sure of specific item number? There are two jobs I am imputing, do I do them individually 3 a- d &4 a-d or include both in one section 3.a-d ? Passport photos and personal check- do I paperclip them or staple them to a piece of paper? I will assemble all papers loose without notebook/folder/sheet protectors. Cover letter on top, put in letter size envelope that goes inside of priority mail envelope as the post office? Thanks in Advance for your help!

Hello everybody, for the past 6 weeks I have been working on getting everything together for our K-1 visa application. I am ready to send it, but I am afraid we may have problems.. maybe someone can help? Background: I have known my Fiancee for more than a year, we got engaged in August 2019, and I have visited her 4 times (2 times in Brazil 2 times in Europe) My Fiancee worked on and off for the past 5 years in Europe while overstaying tourist visas, she was paid directly without work visas by her employers. First job 2015-2017 back to Brazil for a few months back in Europe second Job 2017-2018 back to Brazil for a couple of months return to Europe 3rd job 2019-2020 She never had any problems with entry or departure of Europe or legal issues with immigration. She has never been arrested anywhere. We have lots of pics including when we got engaged in Italy and Switzerland in the application. She is now back home in Brazil, and is going to stay there until our K -1 approved. I am her petitioner and a US citizen. We were advised to include all of her employment history in Europe in the application, work history as a nanny, in home care giver for elderly woman and house cleaner. She has never been to the US. Are we going to have any problems or get denied? Is the K-1 the best way to go? Thanks in advance!
