Hello, In 2016 my then K-1 beneficiary, successfully completed the process to have him enter the USA from Brazil. Short version of the story, he left, went back to Brazil, we never married and he left within his allotted time to be in the country. The culture shock was too much for him and his father had died unexpectedly in January of the year when we filed in February. He was unprepared for the difficulties that his family would have without his father, and he just couldn't stay in the USA while his family needed him in Brazil. We remain friends. We filed in the spring of 2016, he entered the USA in January of 2017 and left in April of that same year. So three years ago. I am preparing another K-1 application for my current fianc . I've searched but I cannot find the rules about this. I, of course, list the first k-1 on the I-129F, But does anyone know how that first filing will affect the second filing?

Hi All, Hope you are all staying safe during this crazy times. I have a question regarding approved IR5 visas (Parent of US Citizen) that are pending on medical exam results. Would this visa still be approved after the EO? My mom had her visa approved on 3/6/2020, her passport was kept at the consulate due to the approval BUT they are still waiting on her medical exam results to finalize the process. The lab results are due on 6/2/2020. The question is .... IS SHE STILL APPROVED? OR will she be banned for good after the 60 days? If any of you can please through some light into this I would appreciate. Thanks and good luck to us all

Sooo..Got my stimulus check aaaand I only got one for myself and NOT my spouse amount?? We got married last year (may 2019). I am so confused. I did file my taxes for 2018 and 2019. Obviously I could not file married on the 2018 one, but I did on the 2019 taxes. Does anyone that is smart with this stuff tell me why? Also, no, he does NOT have a green card as he came from a K1. We are waiting for his interview since COVID pushed it back, so Lord only knows when that will be now. But he is here as legally as he can possibly be. Its not my fault he doesn't have a GC and regardless we are married, so shouldn't i have gotten the full amount? He does have a social security number that he got in 2019. Maybe they are going off based on 2019 file? Help anyone?? Is there somewhere I can go to file for his check?

Hi guys, I was looking for cases similar to mine but couldn't find any. I wonder if anyone who went through a similar experience could help. I'm on a valid H1B, living in the US, and married to a US citizen. We've filled for the I-130 online and now we're getting ready to file the I-485 AOS. My question is regarding the options to file for the EAD and AP. Considering that my visa already allows me to work and re-enter the US, should I apply for these "just in case" (i.e. I get laid off)? Or should I do that only after the fact, if that happen? I would like to have the peace of mind of having this safety net but at the same time I don't want my case to take longer because of it. If anyone went through the same thing, I would love to hear what was your approach! Thanks!
