so I was supposed to have my green card interview last Friday (Feb 25th) but I delivered my baby at 8am that morning LOL what a funny kid right?

my husband went to the field office an hour before the interview and they told him to sent a certified letter to them and include copy of my interview notice and a letter why we couldn t come and the proof from the hospital. I also called them before the interview to reschedule it.

Yesterday my status on the app changed from interview scheduled to case is ready to be scheduled for an interview and I was wondering if anyone else had ever any emergency situation and how long it took to get the new interview date.

I had my interview at the end of January, the 24th to be exact.

On Feb 3, 3 actions were taken on my case when I look at the case history. 3 actions were:

• Scheduled for an oath ceremony
• cancelled oath ceremony
• Oath ceremony will be scheduled

Today I received the appointment letter which was created feb 3rd, no cancellation letter or anything.

So now what, just show up for the oath? Or should I try to call them and somehow try to talk to someone? Has anyone had this before?

Ok so I didn t except that. Houston office is pretty busy and people really are waiting long for their interviews. I just woke up to an email that our interview is scheduled, as of Jan 27th. So basically I ll have an interview in a month. I m due March 7th and I m so scared I will into labor earlier and I ll be in the hospital and they ll deny my case if I don t make it to the interview. I m so worried right now. Any advices? Someone had situation like that?

Does anyone know if the Memphis, TN field office has same day oath ceremony? I have my interview Jan 24 and was wondering.
