US Immigration from Belgium

We got married two weeks ago, the next day after we got married we returned our marriage license to the county clerk and today we got our marriage license back, well, not sure how that works, we got marriage license with the clerk stamp on it. It doesn t say it s marriage certificate it s still marriage license and also on the very top it says Texas state doesn t issue marriage certificates . in the letter we also got congratulation on our marriage letter from the county clerk. So I guess that s what me and my husband need for the AOS forms? Is this like a Texas thing lol?

also, I don t need to include the original one right? I can just do a copy?

I m about to send my AOS application anytime soon. I m getting a bit frustrated with the affidavit of support and I-944 form. I have two questions that literally don t let me sleep at night.

1. so my husband made around 98 000 in 2019 which should be on his return, when we were writing down his amount of money from tax return for 2019 it showed 44 000 on his tax return, clearly the person who was filling his taxes missed one of my husbands w2s. Now I don t know how to proceed, we are going to fix it but I need to send my aos asap due to my I-94. Can I just put 44000 instead of 98000 on I-864 and I-944?

my husband made above the poverty guideline anyways. Also his tax returns from last 3 years are above poverty guideline

2. Due to covid my husband was on unemployment for like 3 months this year, now he is working again and making good money, is that ok he was on unemployment? Or we should get a joint sponsor? We both would rather proceed without the joint sponsor especially that my husband s makes good money, but if we need due to his unemployment he had then I guess we need to ask someone.

I m filling my aos application, I have a little issue with typing it on my computer, few of the questions I can t type in (it just doesn t let me to type there), can I just print the forms out and hand write answers in the places I couldn t type? Is that ok to have application done by typing and by hand writing?

Hi all, I'm currently trying to reassure my wife that we can travel to the US. We just finished DCF with exceptional circumstances here in belgium. She has her visa and immigration package to give up at customs. She's still worried about the travel ban to the US. We fly on the 8th of January, but she's still worried about the ban being extended.

I travelled to the US for work in August and had no problems, and no covid test was required either. I met a few permanent residents in the line at border control, so I know it's not just US citizens they're letting in.

Even if the ban is extended, they won't turn away someone with a valid CR-1 , visa, will they? Anybody had a recent experience immigrating to the US from europe during the travel ban?

My husband and I are gathering our documents for my AoS application. He is my only one sponsor, since he makes enough money. Anyways we decided to marry on my ESTA and adjust my status now. We had pending k1 application and last year my husband then fianc got his tax transcripts from last 3 years for our k1 petition because that s what our lawyer wanted. We still have those transcripts since our lawyer did copies. Can we use those? Issuance date shows 11 of November 2019, they re valid no matter how long ago he got those right?

I d love to use those especially that during COVID it takes forever to apply and get documents like this mailed asap.

also, from tax year of 2019 can we only put his tax returns and w2s in the application? Or we should just do anything possible to get transcripts?
