How long does Police Cert last for?

Hi all,

Our petition has finally been approved! So we're at the NVC stage and preparing documents.

Given COVID-19 is delaying the immigration process for some, if not all families, how long does a police certificate last for before its 'expired' in the eyes of the Consulate?

I know the medical is 6 months, is this the same for the police certificate?

Thanks :)

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, my apologies if so.

Can someone recommend a good immigration attorney in or near Seattle?

I am getting a divorce after filling I-751 and would like to find an experienced attorney to assist with my case.

Hi guys,

I hope you are all well.

I am the applicant in marriage based visa.

I just tried to speak with a customer service representative at USCIS. I was told they can t provide any information without speaking to the petitioner. i.e my wife.

I am going through a divorce and wanted to inquire about how to inform them and ask a few questions.

I have not experienced this when calling before, does anyone know if this is a new policy and what I can do if I am separated from my wife atm regarding speaking with USCIS?

Thanks for any help.

Hi everyone,

I am a UK citizen but I currently live in Australia (Perth) which I have done for the last 3 years. I ve have been on a 2 year working holiday visa. I m currently on a bridging visa A while I wait for a decision to be made on my last remaining relative visa which will grant me PR (if I was to stay) my parents are both permanent residents. So I m not a permanent resident but I am legally here long term.

it didn t even cross my mind until I seen other people in countries they aren t citizens and now I m worried I cannot do my interview in Sydney. I have emailed the embassy and they keep going on about the medical not the interview and I can t seem to get a straight answer.

does anyone know if I can do my interview in Sydney or will I have to fly back to London ?

thank you in advance

Does anyone knows what happens if you applied for a SSN on the I-765, but end up getting one sooner by going into a social security office? Will I end up with two SSN's?
