Hi, I will be removing the conditions on my green card soon and I think I have everything ready except I'm confused by the Finger print card Form FD- 258. Do I go to a police department or a US consulate to get these done. There is no mention of if I need to make

an appointment to do this. Do I just print the form and take it with me? or are they special cards. I just need a little direction. Thanks In Advance.

Interview AFTER Greencard in Hand

In early May, my husbands Green-card showed up in the mail after our original interview was cancelled due to COVID-19. We were so happy to be done with this journey and put it all behind us... until...

My USCIS app gave me a notification last week that our interview had been scheduled. Weird, we already have the green-card - I just ignore it. On Saturday the official USCIS notice for the interview is in our mailbox. Weird again - I'm assuming it was some kind of mistake. Hubby calls this morning and whilst they couldn't tell him WHY he needs to go in for an interview after already having the card, he does.

I'm so annoyed! I have already destroyed all the millions of copies of documents I'd made and I've refiled all the original paperwork I'd pulled out. I gave a stack of photos that I'd originally printed out to my mum.... All those hours of work that I was annoyed I'd done for no reason, I now have to redo!

You can see my original post about our journey here.

Anyone else see anything similar to this? I've told hubby to call again in 2 weeks and see if the next person he speaks to still says we need to go back in - fingers crossed!

Hi everyone,

Has anyone had any luck getting approval to leave Australia/having their partners visit during COVID19? My partner can't enter Australia as hes not a citizen and as we are engaged I don't think we qualify for the defecato exemption. Any advice would really be appreciated, really struggling being away from my partner for so long.

Healthcare workers getting expedited EAD

Hi everyone,

I was looking at all the different reasons to expedite our case and EAD (once we get to that stage)- would being a healthcare worker (registered nurse and registered paramedic) be reason enough as I would be able to assist with COVID19? Would that fall under the "Compelling government interests?". Just looking at different options.

Thanks

Guys, who applied in the recent months, form Tucson or Phoenix, how your process is going on? What about estimate time, etc? Anyone with 751 still pending when applied?

I am going to do it in a month from Tucson.

Thanks
