I wanted to know whether people who do not live in NSW have been able to travel to Sydney for K1 Interviews during the times of COVID, especially in regards to Victorians travelling to NSW. I haven't been able to find information about whether K1 Interviews are still happening at the moment, or whether people who live outside of NSW are able to travel for them during COVID. If we can travel to NSW, what are the conditions for doing so? Is a permit required to enter NSW? Do you have to undergo the $3,000 14 day quarantine to go there? Or is travel to NSW not possible at all right now for one reason or another? Is the Sydney consulate even still doing interviews right now, or are they on hold? Any information, especially in regards to Victorians going to Sydney for an interview, would be very helpful.

My wife and I got married in very late 2018 under a K-1 visa. She now has a conditional green card. I think we are now within the 90-day window for filing I-751, so I started working on it today. She hasn t changed her name officially and won t be changing it, but on Facebook she uses my last name and some people write mail to us calling her by my last name. Do we need to list that name on the I-751 as another name she uses? Or just keep it the same because she has never legally or professionally changed her name? She does sometimes receive mail with my last name (usually for stuff we buy online, not anything official). If we need to list this as another name she uses, does it require explanation to USCIS?

I recently got my job in July last year. My current income is $45k annually however the income reported on my 2019 tax filing is ~$24k since I was only employed for 5 months in 2019. I am sponsoring my wife in India and she will be interviewing in Mumbai. Do you think I will have a tough time getting approved with a 2019 tax transcript + most recent paystubs? I have been employed continuously now for 1 year 2 months. PS. My wife is a registered nurse but currently unemployed. She intends to start working here as a registered nurse. Not sure if this works in our favor.

Hello all, Just received an email in the middle of the night 5 days before my husband's scheduled interview. "Dear visa appointment holder, We regret to inform you that we need to reschedule your visa interview that was previously scheduled on September 22, 2020. A recent court order in litigation unrelated to your case has required us to prioritize Diversity Visa (DV) immigrant applications through the end of the fiscal year, September 30, 2020. Certain embassies and consulates have had to reschedule visa applicants in other visa categories to prioritize DV applicants in adherence with the court order. Your appointment has been rescheduled for October 6, 2020......." Very frustrated as we have spent so much time planning and traveling for him to be there, especially with all of the COVID restrictions. This seems to have come at the worst time as we probably won't be refunded for travel costs. Has this happened to anyone else? My mind is blown that diversity visas are being prioritized over immediate relatives being reunited with family during a global pandemic.
