I started my N400 application online yesterday on my Mac, using Chrome. All went well until the LAST piece of evidence I tried uploading just sat spinning and not completing....and it's been downhill ever since. I have tried using Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, Safari, two different computers, had to delete the original application after it told me it could not retrieve it, have started a dozen times over (deleting the previous stalled attempts to "start fresh") and get to different points in the form (all fairly early on) and it will tell me it couldn't save or could not retrieve it or just shows a blank page instead of form questions...I'm losing my mind!! Is anyone else trying to apply online and experiencing this hell? I have to assume it's an issue on the USCIS site, but I feel like my whole account is just glitch-riddled now and simply logging in means setting myself up for failure! If anyone has any ideas on how I might outsmart the glitches, I'm all ears! *Please please please don't make me go back to doing a paper application!!*

Hi guys! Bit of a newbie here. I m wondering if a traffic conviction (driving with a suspended licence - unpaid fines) will cause me any issues for my K1 interview in Sydney. Ive retrieved the copy of the prosecution notice (court document) and it shows that the suspension was fine related. I ve just sent back packet 3 and am yet to hear about packet 4, so I want to anticipate any issues beforehand. Thanks a bunch!

Hi all! I'm new here but about to start this process. I have a few concerns if anyone has experience. I came to the US last year for a holiday (VWP), had my flight home cancelled in December, received 3 x VWP extensions, found a job (as flights were still 15k+, I'm a registered nurse so was in demand, was eligible for an E3 and had it in my plans to work overseas again at some point - I spent 2019 in London), and re-entered on an E3 mid-March after an emergency appointment in South America. Obviously while in the US during this process I met my boyfriend (hence the title haha). We met back in October. Everything was very normal and fine until we found out last month that he has to move to Puerto Rico. Being on an E3, my visa is tied to my job. Being an RN, I can't get a job immediately in any state as I have to be licensed there. I also don't speak Spanish so I'm not eligible for most of the jobs there. We didn't want to do long distance so we were looking at how I could come to PR with him. We are getting married so that we can be together. A few things! We have to leave ASAP, but my 90 days since my last entry (03/19) is the exact date we wanted to get married (06/17). He is meant to be in PR the week before, so we legitimately can't have him leave any later. Our city hall is only doing Tuesdays and Thursdays as well and it's Thursday the 17th, extending beyond this would add another 5 days. I have the obvious worries about this with the 90 day rule. If you had asked me when I entered on the E3 if I'd be married in 3 months I would've bet all my money against it! It was definitely not planned, but can I include any evidence in our I-485 to reflect this? Secondly, given my US travel history the last 8 months I'm worried they'll think I was entering fraudulently at some point. I genuinely wasn't! Granted we entered into our relationship while I was on the VWP, but I couldn't get home to Australia unless I was willing to pay 20k. My original flight was cancelled after I was symptomatic for covid. This was reflected in my VWP extension applications. Despite the stress and convoluted sounding experience I'm so happy everything has worked out how it did. We're super happy together and so excited for this next adventure. I can't imagine the pain of being denied our application and not being allowed to be together. **One of my good friends is an immigration lawyer, I have obviously spoken to him but wanted some anecdotal experiences. Thank you in advance!!!!

Filling out I-864 with Foreign Income |

My spouse and I are currently residing overseas. We are filling out our I-864 form and need some clarifications. Both of us are working and earning in foreign currency. Question: Is foreign income counted towards the income requirement on the I-864? Do we report our income in US currency? We are planning to supplement with assets as well in case they do not count our foreign income. My wife (beneficiary) owns part of a real estate left behind by my in-laws, it is written in a will (how much is worth and % that my wife is inheriting). We have not sold the real estate yet so cannot show for it in cash. But it is fully paid off and can be liquidated within a year or less. Are we able to supplement this will as an asset? The title deed is under her parents' name.

Hi there We received our Interview Date today for July 20. (NOA2 4/15). It s only weeks before our K1 expiration date. We may have to signed more paperwork and update the visa. I ve emailed the Consulate if any earlier appointments were availiable but the 20th is the earliest one . 309 days from NOA1 for AUS. I know it can be worse but not looking forward to the extra paperwork to be done close to our K1 expiring. Not to include the weeks it takes for administrative processing and travel exemption applications. Just venting.
