US Immigration from Australia

Has anyone of you here applied for the immigrant visa (IR1/CR1) and got approved at the interview solely based on your assets/cash in a foreign bank account?

Would like to know whether the assets/cash must be held in the US bank account or if they can also be held in a foreign bank account.

I emailed Sydney embassy and asked what order I should put my documents in for the interview and this was their response:

Thank you for your email.

You may use the following as guidance:

I am a New Zealand Citizen living in Australia and therefore do not have an Australian Citizenship certificate as I am not a citizen. Why have they asked for this document? Is there something else I should be taking instead?

Also what do they mean by Court documents?

Hi everyone,

Just want to know while re-submitting the twice rejected same documents in Ceac ,,,,do we need to delete the 1st rejected document from the account and replace the 2nd time rejected document with new one or we can directly upload the new one keeping the 2nd time rejected as usual in the Ceac ? Could anyone please tell me the correct procedure for re-submitting the rejected document in Ceac account ??

I've just had my NZ Police Certificate rejected by NVC, for those who've had theirs accepted, could you let me know what you uploaded?

We uploaded the following;

- Section 14 Vetting Request Form

- Confirmation email from NZ Police that my vetting had been processed

- Covering letter explaining the fact we never receive the certificate, and therefore can't upload one.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated, this is now our second RFE from NVC and it's beginning to take it's toll.
