US Immigration from Argentina

Hi everyone! I need some more help here please. My fiance is preparing his part of the paperwork, but he was telling me he doesn't have W2s, because he was self employed for the last four years, does anyone know what information/ paperwork he needs?

Hi all,

We received a 221g at the K1 interview because my fianc was missing the divorce annotation on his previous marriage certificate and we were put into AP. We got the annotation added through the court, submitted updated documents to the consul, and K1 was approved.

Now we are starting to fill out I-485 and on Page 10, Part 8, Question 15 asks "Have you EVER been denied a visa to the United States?" Assume we will check "Yes" and then explain the situation above on the last page.

Our question is: Should we include additional documents in our package to further support our explanation (i.e. annotated marriage certificate, 221g letter)? Or will just the divorce decree suffice (as that's what the instructions say to submit as proof of termination of prior marriage)?

Hi all. After 7 weeks of waiting, got the dreadful email from NVC that several of my documents have been rejected and one marked as missing. I have been a student for the past three tax transcript years and have been unemployed since graduating. While I was a student I had a part time student job but made far below the requirements to ever file taxes. When I uploaded to CEAC under the required document for the Tax Return I uploaded an "Explanation for Not Filing Taxes" and I also uploaded the same document under the Additional Documents under the specific document type for this document. They accepted both things and moved the document I uploaded for the Tax Return Transcript to Additional Documents and marked "Federal Income Tax Return/Transcript" as missing. I don't know what to do. I had requested a letter from the IRS in November and never received anything. I am really stuck on what to do. I am abroad right now so trying to call NVC is going to be pointless. Has anyone had this happen to them or know what I am supposed to do?

Hi all, I entered the US on Dec the 21st and I-m waiting to get the SSN and green card.

I just entered into my uscis account and it says "In process"

But then I decided to check my profile and my Mailing address and physical address are blank.
Do they get the addres for mailing the GC from the profile? Should I update it? I'm not sure about editing it because it says "Updating your contact information in your online account profile is the first step. Please submit Form AR-11 to complete the process"

Hi all! So when my visa was approved at the embassy the officer gave me a piece of paper with my alien registration number (9 digit number) and told me that from now on I was going to use that number for everything in the US.

That same number is printed on the VISA stamped in my passport.

I am now waiting the mail with the green card and SSN. My question is. Will the SSN be the same as the alien registration number? I actually opened a bank account and the lady told me that it was indeed my SSN but I wanted to double check.
