US Immigration from Argentina

Hi all,

I ve used a J1 intern visa three time between 2014 and 2016. On the 2016 visa, I was made subject to two year rule. I got a waiver since I applied to a K1 but didn t end up getting married. Now I ve returned to the US in a J1 trainee visa that doesn t have the two year rule boxed check. My company wants to sponsor me for an H1B. Am I subject to the two year rule again since I ve been in the past?

I'm trying to register on the IRS website to get my tax transcripts and I'm having some difficulties. I register email and address, SSN, etc. and then it logs me out. When I try to log back in, it tells me that my username isn't correct. When I try to enter my email to get my username, nothing comes. When I try to re-register, it tells me they already have my info in the system and I have to login, and then sends me back through the same loop. I've tried 3 times with different email addresses and the same thing has happened. Anyone else have a similar experience and know how to troubleshoot?

I am currently outside of the US but have tried with my VPN, incognito, restarting the browser, etc. to no avail. My address from my most recent return is a US-based address so that doesn't seem to be the issue either. I've gone ahead and requested a transcript by mail in the meantime but the sign up process for that one wasn't particularly clear either...

Hi all, I entered Colorado on December 21st 2019.

I am still waiting for my SSN and my green card.

Do you know if I can still get a driver's license? What about when I get SSN but not green card? Any experience?

I called the DMV of colorado and the lady said that I had to wait for the green card but she didn't sound very confident. Plus, its taking a looong time for people to get their green cards nowadays.

My wife has been scheduled for an interview to remove conditions. Does anyone have information on how long it usually takes from the date of interview until my wife receives her new green card?

Hi! Quick question. We have a RFIE coming our way and, although we haven't received it yet, I assume it's going to be about the tax returns, since we sent the tax account transcripts instead of the returns. So, we might get the generic RFIE to submit all documents submitted to the IRS (w2, etc). We have the 1040 for my sponsor, but we can't find his w2s. Is it ok to respond with the IRS tax return and 1040 or will they want to see the w2?
