Hi everyone, I recently got my conditional green card and was wondering if I should carry it with me all the time. What do you do with it?

Greetings everybody, I am a permanent resident married to a USC. We live in the United States. I am looking for advice and guidance in the following situation: I am selling a property in my home country, and plan to have the money transferred to the US. I want to know if I need to report that sale somewhere, and what the process is like. The sale is an apartment worth approximately 56k. I will have the deed translated into English, and certified. I just don't know where and how to report that income. Thank you in advance. Stay healthy

Hello everyone, This week my green card got approved. I filed AOS through my marriage (hubby is a USC). I know it might be too early, but I am beginning to wonder about the next steps. I know there's ROC and naturalization, but I am confused as to what the difference between them is. When can I apply for citizenship? Also, is there something I should be doing between now and then? Like keeping evidence, etc etc? Thanks a lot!

Hello, My husband and I were one of the lucky ones that got their interview waived and case approved. I was planning on taking my passport to the interview because I think that's where they stamp I-551. However, there was no interview so nothing got stamped there. What's that I-551? I know they are going to send me an approval letter with instructions, but we're quarantining far from home and probably won't see it for a few days. And I don't have anyone to check our mailbox. Would I have to send them my passport to stamp something? Also, if it matters, I already have my combo card. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I searched the recent COVID-19 posts but I can't seem to find an answer relevant to our situation. My husband got his K-1 approved and entered the country 10/19, we got married 11/19, and applied for AOS/EAD in 12/19. Husband did his biometrics appointment in 1/20. We received an RFE in 2/20 for a long-form birth certificate and mailed it 3/20. Our case status online says "Response to RFE received." It is now exactly one month from the date when our response to RFE was received. With COVID-19 and field offices being closed, can we still expect an interview date in the near future once they open up May 3? The interview seems like the obvious next step in the process assuming we don't get another RFE, but I'm worried that we haven't received further communication. Also, does Trump's new immigration ban/halt of green cards affect us? I'm worried sick. Thanks, Savannah and Pablo
