Hello All, New Member here, short story my Fiance is in Argentina and I sent the I-129f recently, It was received November 11 2020, I just have the receipt hard copy and no more updates, yesterday I did talk to an agent from USCIS over the phone and she told me most likely 6 months so be patient until March 2021. My only concern is the two years meeting requirement, I know my fiance since 2012 but we haven't seen each other in the past 2 years so I tried to visit her in Argentina but the country still has a Travel ban it is closed for tourist, I did include an explanation letter about it with my I-129f package, let's see I'll keep you posted. The good thing we booked for Mexico this month and had our meeting with tons of proof if needed.

Hello everyone, I've noticed some people are still able to schedule an interview appointment with the Buenas Aires embassy and are also getting approved. I am wondering how people are getting scheduled when the embassy site states due to covid 19, visa processing are suspended until further notice?.. . My fianc e was supposed to get her interview back in early March 2020 but due to covid, is unable to get an appointment setup. Now all the medical exams and the petition are expired. We had everything ready to schedule an appointment. I sent an email to the embassy requesting assistance and they replied with the following: Hello, Thank you for your email. Please note that the consular section is only processing emergency visas at the moment. Consequently, we are unable to schedule K1 visa interviews until routine visa processing resumes. As a general rule, the I-129F petition has a 4 month validity period. If an I-129F has expired, it can be revalidated by the consular officer at the time of the visa interview provided the delay in the process is justified. If the medical has expired, unfortunately, you will need to take the exam again and pay the medical exam fee. We strongly recommend that you wait to schedule the medical exam until you have a confirmed interview date. I have been monitoring their website for updates constantly but nothing has changed. I am beginning to worry that I will have to restart this entire process all over again. So, anyone (specifically those in Argentina) have Any insight, it would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to bring this old post back to life but anyone from argentina filing I130 can tell me if the Argentinian documents should be legally translated (with the certifficate from the colegio de traductores) or they just need a simple translation with the certification that whoever translated them is fluent in both languages? The Buenos Aires Embassy Page says that documents in english or spanish shouldnt be translated, but i'm afraid that is no the case with documents sent to USCIS in the first place. Am I right?

Hello everyone, My priority date for I-130, I-485 and I-765 is April 3rd. None of those have been approved and I submitted the I-131 on November 27th. Is the I-131 still going to take 5 months (or more), or is the fact that they have already been working on all my other cases make it faster? I would assume they can take my Biometrics from the I-765 done in October 21st, same background check, and more information from other forms. Please share any similar experiences. Thank you!!
