I-485 Approval Notice Letter- Confused about the language in the letter. |

Hello, We received our I-485 (Spose of US Citizen) approval notice letter. But I am little concerned about the language in the latter as it mentions: "The above application has been approved. Prior to receiving your permanent resident card you may be required to report for biometrics processing" How ever I did complete my biometrics early this year and my combo card was issued based off the biometrics. Did anyone or know of anyone get a similar approval notice? Can you please answer my queries: - Do I have to do an additional biometrics?
- Am I officially an LPR? What is my current status?
- Although, hard to predict, When can I expect my Card in the mail?
The last part of notice concerns me, which says: "Although this application or petition has been approved, USCIS and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security reserve the right to verify this information before and/or after making a decision on your case so we can ensure that you have complied with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and other legal authorities. We may review public information and records, contact others by mail, the internet or phone, conduct site inspections of businesses and residences, or use other methods of verification. We will use the information obtained to determine whether you are eligible for the benefit you seek. If we find any derogatory information, we will follow the law in determining whether to provide you (and the legal representative listed on your Form G-28, if you submitted one) an opportunity to address that information before we make a formal decision on your case or start proceedings." Thank you!!

Expedited passport received one month ago... still no naturalization certificate |

My husband applied for his passport back in July, he went the expedited route and got both his passport book and card rather quickly. However, his certificate of naturalization still hasn't made it back after more than 4 weeks. He has tried calling several times and they told him it cannot be tracked. His processing center was Tucson. On the other hand, I sent my passport application (not expedited) one week after his and received everything back already (including my certificate of naturalization) weeks ago. What else can we do to try to get the naturalization certificate back? He really needs it to continue some paperwork with his home country.

Hi all, I had my combined N-400 and I-765 interview on March 18th. I passed all exams and was told both applications would be approved, but they couldn't be approved the same day on paper so I'd hear about the N-400 later. I got the approval letter for my I-765 without a card saying I wouldn't get one because my N-400 was approved. Despite this, I never got the N-400 approval or anything. The status still shows interview scheduled. At first USCIS told me to call after 120 days, then told me to call after outside the normal processing time, which I did back in August. Supposedly they have 30 days to look into it which ends this week but still no news. Has anyone had a situation like this? I don't know what else to do, and I don't even have a green card so I'm in total limbo.

Hello everyone, my husband and I have a joint bank account since the start of our marriage, and we do use it all the time. For practical reasons, we need to close that account and open another joint one with a different bank. We have to file for ROC in January 2022, and I was wondering whether I should wait to switch banks until after that. My reasoning is: I don t want USCIS to think I m lying by presenting two bank accounts, when in reality we would only have one. Does USCIS really care about this? Or can I go ahead, switch banks now, submit all bank statements and add a note explaining why they come from two different banks?

Hello everyone, I have read a few reports that it is possible to request to speak to a supervisor at NVC and ask more direct questions regarding your case. Specifically, my case is DQ'd for an interview in Argentina and I am trying to figure out where my case is in the scheduling queue. From what I have read on these forums it is possible to ask (and get) that information from an NVC supervisor. Does anyone else have experience doing this? If so, what was the outcome?
