Hello VJmembers! I hope everyone is well and safe!

I'm posting this in regards for a friend who is not in this platform.

They are planning on getting married (when everything opens up) in the US. They will be on a tourist visa and their spouse to be is a US citizen. What steps should they take from there after getting married.

Can the US citizen automatically apply to adjust their status. Or do they have to go back to their homeland and apply for the i30 and wait for approval. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Hello everyone,

My question today is just as the title says, I'm an F1 student, I'm still going to college and we got married and filed last summer, however, I didn't do the medical exams yet and right now with the virus and all the situation going on I don't want to go near any doctors or hospitals, the interview will be soon, but I want to put the application on hold or abandon it or even just go to the interview without a medical exam.

I would like to know if I do that, will I be able to file again after some months if everything gets back to normal since I'm still an F1 student? or will it be impossible for me to file again?

Thanks!

I-751 Remove Condition on resident

Hi. My wife is legal resident under CR1 status (green card with condition) and she's overseas visiting her family with our U.S born child. She got stuck there because no flights available, so her conditional green card will expire in July. I'm aware I have to file I-751 to remove the condition on her green card and I got couple of questions:

1. Can I file on behalf of her then sign it electronically by using electronic signature (no typewritten or stamped) on PDF or has to be signed by her with pen then scan it? And course I'm aware I need to sign it too.

2. On Part 5 on the application it's asking this: Is this child applying with you: Yes or No. Since our child is a U.S citizen, should I answer NO?

Thanks for your help in advance.

S.B.
