US Immigration from Albania

In wishing you good luck in your process i would really appriciate your insights and personal experience in what i am about to share.

I was previously married and divorced in Canada.Returned to my homecountry (Albania) here i figure out as single because the marriage never took place in Albania.

I have my marriage and divorce certifictes from Canada and my birth certificate from Albania (single)

Will this affect my pettition for the K1 Vissa on the interview date?

Is there anyone with the same experience?

What did you do to convince the embassy that the marriag never took place in homecountry.

My husband received his two year conditional green card recently. My parent is a US contractor overseas and approached me with a job offer for the both of us which pays really well and could be a really amazing opportunity for our growing family. I wanted to know if: 1. It is possible to work overseas for the government with his two year greencard 2. If it s possible, what is the ruling? Does he need to apply for advanced parole or can we just come back as long as it s less than one year from leaving. Or does it have to be less than 6 months from leaving? Thank you!

Our application, along with many others went to NBC. There are no processing times for NBC I could find for I-751. Can someone assist?

Hi all,

Me and my son just arrived on K1 &K2 visa in Usa.
I got married and I signed the marriage certificate with my family/maiden name.
I am preparing to file for AOS and the attorney said to me that I cannot take the surname of my husband since the marriage certificate is signed with my maiden name.

My question is: Is it ok if I put both surnames wile applying for AOS, and other documents that I need?
We made the medical examination in our country and once entered handled the envelope to the immigration authorities.
Now, they are asking me to make once again the medical examination. Is it necessary or shall I tell that I already did it before coming?
How long does it take to get the GC?
