Eduard and I met in the first month that I was in Bologna, Italy as an au pair. It was a chance meeting. Someone pushed me towards him and said "talk to him, he's American." "Are you American?" "No." Do you speak English?" "No." We only talked for a few seconds before my friends wanted to leave and, contrary to my normal behavior, I gave him my phone number when he asked to get coffee with me. We went on a date where we talked for hours and spent every moment of the next year and 8 months by each other's side. We are a perfect match, and I always feel so lucky that we met. We grew up in different cultures, speaking different languages, and we fit so perfectly. We are so lucky to have found our soul mates and I can't wait to live in the same country together again! -Amber
