We met in person during my trip to Barranquilla, Colombia - July 10 - 25, 2012. During the trip we fell deeply in love and we knew we wanted to get married. Kelly introduced me to her family and friends. We took a 4 and a half hour bus ride to Kelly's hometown, Valledupar to meet her grandparents, aunt and uncle. During the trip we decided to apply for the K-1 fiancee visa after much discussion. The 8 to 12 month waiting period for the visa will give us time to continue getting to know each other. We also planned a romantic trip to Panama at the end of October, 2012.
