I met Elena studying abroad in Finland in a graduate course for social work students last May. She was denied a tourist visa to visit me here, but I have since visited her twice in Russia. I will graduate in May, and she will graduate in July (we will both have master degrees in social work) so I filled out the 1-129F and mailed it in January, hoping that she can over here on the K-1 visa shortly after she graduates in July.
