We met in 2007 when I was studying abroad for 1 month in Cuernavaca Mexico. We met at a salsa dancing night club and ran into eachother again before I left for the US. It was basically love at first sight, but I was only 19 and just starting college and how would it work to date someone from another country? We talked on and off for about a year and a half, and then I decided to go to see him for my spring break in 2009. We started dating and were engaged on a trip to Los Cabos in 2010. We married in a beautiful cathedral in Cuernavaca Mexico on March 26, 2011. This has been a LONG but worthwhile process. I'll be going for his visa interview in Ciudad Juarez. We're just waiting to find out when that will be.
