    My mum had her interview on the 19th of November. Visa approved. Interview was quick. Don't lose hope guys you're closer to the end than when you first started.

    My mum's case got DQ on Sept. 20th. Notice of interview scheduled Set. 26th. Interview scheduled for late November. Good luck to everyone. Don't lose hope or patience.

    What original documents did you need to give your mom at her interview? I'm trying to prep the documents needed for my mom's interview. Has your name changed? Did you need to give her your marriage certificate. What questions were asked? How long did it take you to get an interview notice after becoming DQ?

    I am sponsoring my mother to come to the US. I am filling out the AOS. I make sufficient over the poverty lines for my household size. However, I file taxes jointly. Do I have to fill out an I-864A for my husband as a household member? He works and has income but I do not need his income to qualify.

    I decided to log in at 0915 this morning and when I went to my email for the 2 step verification email I saw an email was sent by USCIS at 0913. Logged in and saw the approval under the documents tab. The first tab is still saying it is actively being reviewed. Hope approvals for July come quickly.

    Everyday I'm checking and nothing. It seems as though they have been stuck approving submissions from the end of June. Just when you think you are seeing light at the end of tunnel.

    Any updates now that it has been a year or approaching a year for some us? My case progress has changed from taking longer than expected to 7 months. I know it is just an estimate. What has slowed down now?
