    Met my wife to be in 2008 while attending a work trip to Florida, engaged in 2009 and started the K-1 process. Approved and moved to Florida in November of 2010 where we had our first marriage (courthouse for K-1 requirements). Saved and had our formal church wedding December of 2011. Moved to Colorado for work in 2012, bought our house in 2013, one and only child born in 2015.

    I may have to travel out of the country this weekend for a funeral, I have an expiring GC (June), 24 month extension letter and citizenship interview (May 2nd). If I go I plan on bringing both of those documents to return but has anyone had to do something similar?
