I met Mali in Seoul in April 2009 and we become close friends. We then started dating a few months later, and I proposed to her during a trip to Bali in the summer of 2010. We live together in Seoul, where I work at a newspaper and she is studying to finish her master's degree. We hope to move to the U.S. - possibly Denver, where I'm from - when and if she is approved.
