Thank you for your response. Yes I am a US citizen. Wow, I didn’t realize the wait was that long for a sibling. Do you know if that’s also dependent on the country of origin? My brother might have an opportunity through work to come to Canada and work there for a while. Do you know if that might expedite this process?

Hello! Its been about 15 years since I dealt with immigration stuff, so forgive me for being rusty!! After losing our only living Parent, my brother and I would like to live closer. So I’m trying to get his stuff going. I see that I need to fill in 1-130 and provide needed documentation, but I don’t see anything else that I need to fill in for him or his spouse. When do I pay the fees and when do I provide financial info and stuff? The guides aren’t clearing things up for me, so I would appreciate any guidance. We’re from India so I’m curious if anyone knows how long the current wait times are?
