Our Story
We met online in August 2009 and fell in love with each other. We decided to take our relationship to the next level and met in person on September 29 in Shenyang, then travel to Beijing for the National Day festivities where I proposed to her. I purchased a diamond ring for her and we got engaged. I have since traveled to China four times doing a vacation with Yanan to Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, then her home city Dalian where we spent quality time together. I traveled to her home city this winter celebrating and meeting her family members (grand pa, uncles, aunts, cousins) and we all clicked because of my Chinese family heritage. I visited again during the Spring Festival, wow, the foods and fireworks were awesome!! I am studying Mandarin on the Peiltster CD program and getting good in understanding and speaking simple phases and words in pu tong hua...
We have been blessed to get our application and her interview scheduled quickly. The big day is next month and we are preparing for it. We are traveling to Beijing for her medical exam and vaccinations.
