We met 10 years ago while we were both studying at Abilene Christian University!! My mother actually met him first at a bible study and then introduced us. I didn't really speak Spanish then, so we got to know each other, but not very well. Over the years we have been in contact a few times, but this past April he was visiting friends in Lubbock and he came down to spend the day with me. We went to see the King Tut exhibit in Dallas, and we both just knew!! We've been talking on MSN and on the phone pretty much every day for hours since then, and he invited me to go visit him in Peru in June. While I was there, he proposed!! Now we're married and waiting on his AOS so he can start looking for a job and we can start our family!
