We met in the fall of 2004 when a friend and I went trekking in the Himalayas... my fiance was our guide! We kept in touch over the winter, I went back in March 2005 for another visit, we filed the I-129F in June 2005 and I went back in October 2005 for another visit, met his whole extended family and we all (my fiance, his son, and I) flew home together. Now we are happily married and settling into life as a family here in the much smaller mountains of Virginia.
