  1. @Nulasco I shared my full interview experience in another thread, you can find it below. It all went well. Since then, my CEAC status moved to "Issued" on the 4th (YaaaY 🎉), passport was with courrier on the 5th and first delivery attempt on the 6th. I had to reschedule the delivery so I don't have my hands on my visa yet but it's all but done now and I can't be more happy.
  2. The thread below was the best resource I could find for Paris. However we only see that people have been waiting for a long time and I couldn't find data from people who recently went through the Consular Process in Paris. Paris embassy is treating way less cases than London so there are less people who put online so it doesn't mean that Paris is much slower but the problem is that I couldn't find any real way to know either. Have you been DQed already?
  3. Hi everyone, I had my interview today, so as promised, here is a quick recap: When I arrived, there was a long queue for the visa section. However, thanks to previous posts from this forum, I knew I could go straight to the desk at the front of the line and let them know I was there for an immigrant visa. I had a laptop with me, but the embassy does not allow laptops inside nor do they store them. They instructed me to use the lockers at a nearby coffee shop with a pink facade, located right across from the embassy. If you are in a similar situation, I recommend going there first to store any items that are not permitted inside. My interview was scheduled for 8:00 a.m., so I was part of the first group of the day. I was the second EB (Employment-Based) applicant to arrive and didn’t have to wait long. First, you visit a desk to submit your documents and provide your fingerprints, and then you return to the waiting area. Afterwards, you are called back for the actual interview with the consular officer. Before starting, you swear an oath confirming that all the information in your application is true. The officer then asked me the following questions: Could you tell me about your professional background? What is your highest level of education? How long have you lived in the UK? Have you ever lived in the US? What kind of work did the company you interned with in the US do? (I felt that last one was just for his own curiosity as he seemed genuinely interested) During the interview, a second officer was being trained, so the first officer explained everything he was doing to her. Because of that, the process took about 10 minutes in total. At the end, he said, “It is my intention to approve your application. You should receive your visa in one or two weeks.” So, fingers crossed, it will be issued in a few days! I hope this recap helps anyone who has an interview coming up. Good luck!
  4. @KVVO @banang @Hamd157 I'm genuinely so happy for you 🎉 I'm also glad that my prediction was spot on 😉 Good luck to all of you in the final step of the process!!
  5. @Hamd157 I'll do my best to share my interview experience. Do have a look at this thread though as several EB1 and EB2 shared their interview experience there in London @EB1Aspirant on my side the transfer was made before I received an interview letter so fully with NVC. I would imagine your case is a bit different. Good luck!
  6. It looks like both you and @banang are literally next in line as my DQ was Nov 19th. It looks like currently IL for London are sent once a month, EB are a few days after Family Based. My guess would be an IL for both of you between 25th and 30th of Jan for an interview in March but, obviously, things can change so we can never be sure.
  7. @banang Given my DQ date, you should get it in the next batch. Fingers crossed!!
  8. Yes, I'm a UK resident, well a tax resident. Technically, I'm not a resident anywhere as I've been a digital nomad for a bit more than a year but before that I was 10 years in the UK and I'm only paying taxes in the UK. It would have been better for me to do the final stages in Paris but I've had more ties in the UK in the past few years so I hope that should be ok.
  9. Interview Letter received yesterday for an interview in London on 3rd February. I'm EB-1A, I was DQ on 19th Nov and made a transfer from Paris to London on 2nd Dec which was confirmed on 5th Dec. I share my full timeline in this other thread's post for all the info. Good luck to everyone.
