  1. Filing fee was taken from my fiancé's account on 27/11/2024, he has still not received an e-notification (text or email). Is this normal? How long after the fee being taken does it take to receive NOA1? I know it is very soon but I thought it was issued straight after fee gets taken. He completed form G-1145
  2. I work temporary part time jobs so that’s not going to help prove much. I still live at home so don’t have a lease etc. I have car payments and a return ticket. That’s pretty much the only tangible ties i could offer as proof.
  3. Opinions please This year I visited the US 5 June-6 July and 16 Sept-14 October. I am sending off K1 petition next week and I want to visit on an ESTA 31 December - end of February/early March. Possible red flag? Would this trip cause issues at CBP? Is it too long?
  4. If I stayed with a family friend for work in another state would I list this address? It was for one month
  5. My J1 Home Residency Rule ends June 2025. (UK) I have seen online that my fiance can file a K1 petition for me despite the HRR. We are planning to send off I-129F in November. At what point does a petition turn into an 'application' and do you think at this point my HRR might affect the K1? If it processes before June would I be able to just schedule my interview for when my HRR is up? I also know that USCIS holds petitions for four months, - do you think this would be a sufficient amount of time? (6 months) I am aware that I may not hear anything until after June anyway if the process takes a while but have seen and spoken to people online that have recent K1 timelines of 4.5-6 months. I hope this makes sense!
