We met working together online in 2016 and soon met in person, before long we were engaged until; the pandemic stopped our wedding, etc. Finally, in August 2021, we were married online so I could get a visa to at least visit my wife in the Philippines so we could meet the "Consummation" requirement of the visa process. I arrived in May of 2022 and went home on June. We put together all the documents and application fees by November of 2022 and they were received in Dec of 2022. In November of 2023, our I 130 was approved and our case moved to the National Visa Center in December of 2023. We put all the documents in and they were accepted in January of 2024 but we were told that my income is not enough to meet the guidelines and they do not look at assets till the consulate visits. To be on the safe side I had my sister co-sponsor since her verifiable income easily meets the requirements. That was Feb of 2023. Since then we have heard nothing up to today and that is Sept 9, 2024.
