  1. NOA 2 was approved a few weeks ago. I just sent them what they requested, including some of the same docs I originally sent and a signed affidavit of details of the events. still odd that was I supplied first time wasn't enough. my local police department would not give me any kind of document that USCIS was requesting even trying my best to talk them into it. Frustrating to say the least.
  2. Got my RFE today. I was surprised for what it was asking for considering what I had sent them. They listed the offenses which I had detailed, and also mentioned the document from the Criminal Identification and Records Branch to show the police records for my arrests did not satisfy. My records we're expunged, and state police and courts are showing no records found. but they did not mention the documents I attained from the courts which had Seals and signatures stating with a check box marked next to it "The Undersigned has searched for the requested information on the above-named person and has determined that no such case, pending or disposed, appears of record in circuit court. I'm dumbfounded what else to give them as this is what both courts gave me from two different counties.
  3. Yes. they are processing a little over 7000 cases a month and on average are getting about 3000 cases submitted. And from what I heard how USCIS reports their timeline it's very data backwards looking. If theirs a drastic change it won't be reflected in their timeline for quite a while.
  4. Question 2a on the I-129f form asks if you have ever committed various crimes including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault etc.. when I was 19 I got into an argument with my ex and pushed her down. I was charged with simple assault and criminal trespass. (This happened at her mother’s house). This was 18 years ago. I put no to the answer because we did not co habitate, so it wouldn’t be considered DV. But I had never heard of dating violence and it was never in my life brought up like that. Reading various sites this crime could be considered dating violence. I didn’t find anything on here about anyone talking about dating violence. I still disclosed the simple assault and trespass on with the i129f with a description of what happened. Should I be worried?
  5. Did you contact your congress people, or did it just finally get approved. I feel for you, that’s an awfully long wait. Any reason on why it took so long?
  6. Tell me about it, my case is still showing received and mine was in December. All we can do is wait.
  7. They also sent my birth certificate back as original. What's funny is the birth certificate clearly states it is a copy from the states vital statistics department... so they sent me back my copy
  8. Did you give them a call and we're they able to help you? I see your timeline updated with NOA2.
  9. I believe they use an API to tap into and pull the data from USCIS each day. If you notice any case can be accessed with just a case # on uscis just from their website. While they dont say specifically what they do, its proven over the last two years to be very accurate. Their information also correlates to the data that visajourney provides if you dig into the data.
  10. I find it comical that people go by the USCIS info they provide. This information is lagged severely. Trackmyvisanow is showing the majority of cases are taking 4 months to go from NOA1 to NOA2 at present. November is still showing 18% of cases as received, with 57% of cases approved. They are currently working on the Majority of January Cases. Was their anything a little more complicated with your case?
