  1. Hey folks, I'm a US citizen living in Canada preparing to file a K1. For the mailing address, is it alright to put my Canadian address where I'm living or should I put a relative's/friend's address in the US who can receive mail for me? I've read that USCIS doesn't send mail abroad but there's conflicting information out there. Any help would be appreciated!
  2. Yes, we're doing this whole process together
  3. Yep I'm aware of those factors
  4. Regarding processing time?
  5. Thanks for your reply! There's an article on Boundless Immigration that suggests that it does count for a green card application, although I don't know if it's the same for the K1, so I just wanted to get some confirmation on that. "Yes, full-time student enrollment and unpaid internships are considered types of employment for green card application purposes." https://www.boundless.com/immigration-resources/completing-your-employment-history-on-a-green-card-application/#:~:text=Yes%2C full-time student enrollment, your job title or occupation. Assuming I shouldn't put "student", would being unemployed be a red flag?
  6. Hey guys, I'll be filing the K1 application relatively soon and I had a question concerning the employment section on the initial i-129F application. Am I allowed to write "full time student" for employment? I'll be graduating in a few months and I have a job lined up, so I'm not worried about the AOS, but I was wondering if this might be a red flag for USCIS. Thanks for any help yall can give!
