Update: I sent corrected I485 with the RFE letter placed on the first page to the field office via UPS next day air the same day the RFE was issued. (yesterday) Package was delivered this morning so I went into my USCIS account this afternoon to check the status and found I130 has been approved! No sign of receipt of my RFE response yet. I'm hoping I485 gets approved or the interview gets scheduled within this week.

Thank you, I just read through the definition of assets in I864 instructions and it matches what you said. Definition of Liabilities is not included in the instructions though... In a common sense, isn't a car loan a liability?

I130 and I485 were concurrently filed for a spouse of USC. I read the question incorrectly and answered No to "subject to the public charge ground of inadmissibility under INA section 212(a)(4)." I want to make sure I answer this and subsequent questions correctly this time. Q62: size of your household - it's just me and my wife so my answer should be 2? Q64: total value of your household assets - the hose we own has a mortgage. Do you take out remaining mortgage from the house value? Q65: I assume this would be all the liens we hold? - remaining mortgage, remaining car payment? Do I need to provide any supporting evidence/documents for these? I864 has been submitted. RFE asks "Place your initials and the date next to each answer and return your completed form I485". I assume they want complete I485 with all pages. Do you keep the same date of signature from the original submission or use today's date (date the corrected I485 is submitted)?

I went into uscis my account and found something interesting. I485 status changed twice today… maybe they finally looked at my case, first thought something was missing but then realized everything is there? Anyway this is an evidence that my case was “touched” so I guess it’s a good thing.

I was casually checking status today and the status has changed! Both I130 and I485 status says "as of August 26, 2023, we are actively reviewing..." I guess it's a good sign? Would this mean that the officer actually started looking at our case?

Receipt notice for I130 & I485 dated 2/28/23, biometric appointment was on 5/5/23. After finger printing, I485 status changed to "actively reviewing" as of the appointment date. I130 is still showing "Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent" No movement on I765 since 5/5/2023. While looking through posts in this forum, some people had their I130 status changed to "actively reviewing" after finger printing. I am start getting nervous since my status still shows receipt date. I know it's been only 6 months since I filed the application and I need to be patient but I'm seeing people from the same field office getting GC less than 5 months and I765 approved in 2 months. I am concerned if my case is stuck somewhere and unattended. Is there anything I can do to expedite the process? At least hoping I765 gets approved soon to start a job...

I'm USC and sponsoring my wife's GC. She currently has H1B and we sent I130, I485, etc as concurrent filing. Receipt notice on 2/28/23 Biometric appointment on 5/5/23 No update so far... I130 and I131 status shows receipt date. I485 and I765 status says actively reviewing since the biometric appointment date. I was looking up timeline on this website and I am not sure if I'm K visa or IR-1? Anyone recently concurrent filed to Detroit office? When did you file and when did you get the interview/decision?
