  1. I know …. bit doesn’t help much when you whole life is on hold !!!!
  2. I know …. the waits all increased after we applied it’s hard when you have a timeframe idea and it keeps getting longer and longer 19 months married - 5.5 long distance I’m so ready for this to be done
  3. MTL has been so quite lately for CR1/Ir1 i am wondering when the next IL will come out ….. patiently ( ok NOt to patiently) waiting
  4. I think they are currently working on submissions from august 2023- you have a few more months prior to approval - it is average 14 months now for I30 approvals…then IL waits vary…. We are 4 + months post DQ with no interview yet in Montreal …. some places are faster but some are slower not the best news
  5. I did finally got it all sorted and have an appt to get the ones I need updated .. who knew the vaccine part would be the harder of the immigration journey !!!!! Lol
  6. That is my hope … it’s so unpredictable….
  7. Can you file this with cra and have them adjust the taxes ? im trying to sort it all out as well - wanting to maintain a residence and job in Canada (PR in USA ) then apply for duel citizenship to give me options
  8. 2024- thinking November for letter and interview in January 🙏🙏
  9. If you get any info on extending days let me know …. We applied april 2023…. Everything has since increased in timeframes …. It’s so hard to plan …. I have obligations for family and work in January and February and in need my passport for both !!!! keep hoping for a miracle that is not materializing ….. there seems to be some wiggle room if you don’t stay 6 full months in one trip BUT every officer seems to see this differently. I have been told many many different things at customs. We are getting closer and i do not want any issues so we keep to 182/365 To be safe … we all know how hard it is to not be with your Spouse ….. September was brutal for us …. it get harder and harder honestly….
  10. Plan for two years total for the process - there were alot of applications March 24 so it may been even longer good news is that travelling to USA during the process is not difficult if you can prove strong ties. I wish there was a way to stay longer, it would be nice if they extended that option to those of us who are stuck, waiting for endless paperwork, approvals!Careful saying you can work remotely or with flexibility …. I’m a n Vancouver too- good news is one of the five approved doctors is in Surrey !
  11. Given how unpredictable the timeframes for Montreal interviews are it’s hard to know when to even list a house …hard to rent or organize life on all these variables
  12. Not only no IL in September but now they have rescheduled the October 7 th interviews as well when you think you finally can see the light in this arduous and horrible process they shut the door
  13. Anyone get the letter today ? no IL it seems I am so done with all this BS …. Sigh I’m not expecting letter till November it’s getting harder and harder to stay positive this whole process has taken years off my life
