Hello everyone,
I hope you're all doing well. I am reaching out to this forum seeking some advice and guidance regarding my immigration case, as I am experiencing some delays and uncertainties in the process. Here's a brief overview of my situation:
Marriage Date: 2022-01-07
I-130 Application Sent: 2022-10-17
I-130 NOA1 Received: 2022-11-15
It has been quite some time since I submitted my I-130 application, and I understand that immigration processes can sometimes take longer than expected. However, the delay has been causing some anxiety and uncertainty for my spouse and me. I am also mindful that compared to many this is "Just the start."
I have a few questions I hope some of you might be able to help me with:
Is the length of "approval" this long for everyone else? Is this the part that takes the most time?
When I look at my case in the USCIS website, on the myProgress tab I get the message below - does anyone have insight into this?
"Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You do not need to take any action at this time."
Are there any specific actions I can take to expedite or inquire about the status of my application?
Can anyone share their experiences with I-130 processing times, especially if you have applied around the same time as I did?
While waiting for the I-130 approval, are there any other steps I can take or any interim measures I should consider to ensure a smoother immigration process?
I understand that each immigration case is unique, but any insights or shared experiences from this community would be greatly appreciated. Dealing with the uncertainty of this process is challenging, and your support and advice mean a lot to me during this time.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
