They indeed took my passport with the visa therein and handed me a letter suggesting that I am to receive my SSC within 14 days. As for the GC, I'm still waiting to receive it. Hopefully, no mistakes are made. But if there are any, now, I know what to cite in the cover letter I'm sending along with the I-90. Thanks again!

I entered the US on December 19, and paid the immigrant fee on December 20. However, the USCIS case tracker on their website suggests that the receipt number, which I received in an email upon the payment, is invalid. Does anyone have the same issue, and what's the solution? Haven't yet received my SSN either. Another issue is that my visa was CR1 but I entered after 2 years of marriage. Yet, the officer at the airport wrote "CR1" on the stamp. Are they going to send me a 2-year or 10-year green card in this case?

I received my interview appointment letter a while back. I was encouraged to upload the updated tax documents (i.e., recent tax transcripts) before the interview takes place. The problem is that I tried submitting them once, but the site gave me an error message and logged me out. So, I tried submitting the documents again to find that I submitted the same document twice. So, now there are two documents that are basically the same on the portal. Does anyone know whether that is gonna cause a problem at the time of the interview? Thanks!

I received my interview letter on September 13th, 2023. Interview date is late September. (Very short notice, I know!)

I've been DQ'ed since April, 2023, and haven't yet received the interview letter.

How long did it take you to get an interview scheduled after your case was documentarily qualified at NVC? My case has been sitting at NVC since April, and I don't know when NVC or US Embassy Doha is gonna get things moving.

Hello, everyone! I've been wondering about the time it takes NVC to schedule an interview for CR1/IR1 cases at Embassy Doha in Qatar. My spousal case got documentarily qualified (DQ) on April 26th, 2023, and I haven't heard from NVC ever since. How long does it take them to schedule an appointment? Please share your timeline if your spousal case was processed in Embassy Doha. Thanks!
