    I emailed them asking if they have received my passport after I got the confirmation the courier service was delivered. They responded after 2 weeks that they acknowledge receipt of my passport and photos.

    I had updates on Nov 15, 18, and 19th today. Nov 15th, they acknowledged receipt of my passport, medical and photos. Nov 18th, they requested Ds 260 updated form and to email them the confirmation page.(Done same day) Todays update I believe is related to the email I sent them yesterday. Status still showing Refused! 😑

    Yes, its been more than a year since my interview. I had to only update my travel information. Hope this will not create another delay with the process. 😣

    Sent my passport, photos and new medical on October 30th which consulate confirmed receipt on Nov 15th. Received an email from them today asking to update the DS 260 form and email copy of the confirmation page. Wish they requested this at the time when they requested my passport and medical. 😑

    I did my test on Oct 21st and they sent the results to the consulate on Oct 31st, so it look 10 days for me.

    It is indeed very frustrating! I just got a response from them "This case is currently pending review by a consular officer. As soon as the review is complete, the Visa Unit will advise of the next steps if anything else is needed to complete processing the case." This was related to my inquiry sent over 2 weeks ago. I really hope they don't ask for police check next. Just wondering if I should contact senator to inquire about the status.

    Wow seriously thats insane! I also had my interview around the same time as u on Aug 7, 2023, but they did not request a new police check for u. Only asked for passport, new medical and new photos. I emailed them over 2 weeks ago asking if they have received my passport, medical and photo but got no response. They received everything on Oct 29th. So far updates on ceac were on Oct 31, Nov 4, 5 and 15th. This is the number found on the Montreal US consulate website 514-398-9695. Hope you can find an answer from them asap.

    Congratulations to those who got their visa issued recently! Just wondering whats the turnaround time to issue the visa once consulate receives passport photos and second medical. My passport was delivered on October 26th and medical was sent by doctor on October 30th. There was an update on ceac on Nov 1st, 4th and 5th. Checking everyday to see if status changed to Issued but ofcourse its still showing Refused. This wait this horrendous! 😔

    Hello everyone, i sent my documents(passport and 2 photos) through AIS(courierin authorization certificate). Went to Canada post and got the tracking number and it shows delivered w days ago on canada post tracking website. My AIS still shows Current status:Send documents and the status below says Check DS-260 Status. Is it supposed to show like this on AIS page?

    @DS5535TXCAN Hey there, I have my second medical exam on Oct 21st at Dr. Lyndon's office. I didn't mail my passport and photos yet as the doctors office website says i will need to bring my passport on my appointment date. Im planning to mail the passport and photo after I complete my medical exam. The consulate requested all these documents on Oct 8th. You didn't need to bring your passport and copy of ds-260 form on your second medical appointment? Good luck, hope your visa is issued soon!

    For the updated medical, now Covid 19 booster vaccine is a requirement and currently its not available in Ontario until Oct 28th i think. Will the consulate accept medical without the covid 19 vaccine if doctor indicates N/A?

    Hello everyone, I finally received the lovely email from the consulate requesting my passport, updated medical and two photos. Finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. My interview was on August 7, 2023.
