  1. Really weird to waiting so long, especially in Paris. There's no backlog for EB categories for this Embassy and not a lot of applicants. If you have a look on another Reddit chat about October 2024 predictions, you see that this month there's was a lot of people getting their GC with PD from November to January 2023. You're current, your PD is December 2021 if I remember, since that they forgot you !
  2. It's good to read you ! It's really complicated to estimate things, because I found that finally lots of people that talked on Reddit or here are waiting for an interview in Paris but aren't from France. And so often their cases are transferred from other country like Canada where the wait is more than a year...so their DQ dates are older. I discovered also that things can be differents from the fields where you are working, the EB2 NIW pilots received their interview sooner than the others for exemple because there's a huge need of pilot right now.
  3. Sorry I discovered recently that my DQ date was in late October 🙃
  4. Thank you for this information, could you share with us the name of the group where you found this or the link?
  5. Seems like her interview was in May 2023 not 2024...
  6. Yes exactly, it's been a month. Like I was DQ last October but not current I just want to make sure that they will not forget me!!! It's really difficult to know where we are going about the interview in Paris. The last informations I found in platforms like Reddit, Lawfully or here, are really differents and last news of an interview letter dates back from august 2023. Since then no news, so I try to figure it out. Some people are saying on Reddit that you have to wait 1 year after being current to receive the interview letter in Paris but I didn't find any proof. Like I said before the last real cases I find were on this forum and people received their IL sometimes 1 month after being DQ or sometimes 4 months. My lawyer underestimate the time, so I want to be mentaly prepare if it's more than few months....
  7. Some updates, I send an email to the NVC las week, asking if my case was on the queue for an interview. In fact, it was more to remind them that my case is waiting for an interview. I received today an email nearly the same I received when I was DQ, but this time it's written : So a classic that other people waiting received. Maybe I will try to contact the embassy next...
  8. I think you're right, I find this on the NVC contact page for immigrant visa : Interviews The U.S. Embassy or Consulate tells NVC which dates they are holding interviews. NVC fills these appointments on a first-in, first-out basis and cannot predict when an interview will be scheduled. Once complete, your case will remain at NVC until an appointment is scheduled, at which time we will send it to the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate. We will notify the applicant, petitioner, and attorney (if applicable) when an appointment is scheduled.
  9. About the case that I mentioned before, this guy told me that his PD is July 2021. He wait a long time for the answer and got RFE so finally he became DQ in December 2023. I told him to try to contact the NVC or ask for an expedite but he can't. About my case, it still said At NVC. I read somewhere that NVC need around 7 weeks after being DQed to contact the Embassy. I agree with you it's always a good idea to contact the NVC to remind them that your case is still pending.
  10. Thank you for your answer, yes my PD is current since April 1st. It's 15/12/22, DQ November 6th. Like you, I saw the numbers for March and it's more than usually so it's giving me hope. But I talked with someone on Reddit, EB2 NIW case, he's current and waiting since December, no news from the NVC or the Embassy since... So that's makes me nervous. The Olympics are quite a problem but thanks to the document you send me, it seems that they send temporary duty personnel to France to help the workflow. They will allow the Marseille and Strasbourg consulates to provide consular services, so it's a good news. Family based cases seem to receive their IL nearly 2 to 3 months after being DQed. Even if it's the end of the journey, it's quite a long process...
  11. Yes exactly I'm current since April first. Paris seems to be fast and in March 10 Eb2 received their green card but we don't know their PD.
  12. Hello everyone, is there someone eb1/eb2 who received their IL for the Paris embassy the last 3 months? There's no way to find any information about the delay for this embassy.
