    Hi All, Green card arrived today on October 29th!! We are so excited and grateful to have the conditional greencard. I wanted to thank the visajourney community for not only helping track our relative progress but also the encouragement we have read on the forums. Without visajourney we would have ended paying a lawyer for the process, but with all the tips and tricks and the step by step guide from here, we were able to do it by ourselves. We will always appreciate this website and community. I will see everyone back during the I-751! Case Sent: April 17th, 2024 Biometrics: June 18th, 2024 EAD: September 22nd, 2024 485 Approval: October 20th , 2024 Green card: October 29th, 2024

    Hi All, Just wanted to give an update where we are. We officially got approval of our I-485 and we are now waiting on the card to be produced and mailed. It's been a very long journey since the K1 visa and we are excited to finally be at this step. Case Sent: April 17th Biometrics: June 18th EAD: September 22nd 485 Approval: October 20th Green card: TBD

    It all honestly depends on the agent you get. I had to go through 3 before I got an agent that gave me the codes. I am not sure about bringing the date forward, but once you get the biometrics appointment, you can contact USCIS and talk about rescheduling.

    You can talk to a Live agent through Ask Emma to get your access code. You just mention you don't have your case number and provide your details. They can give you the receipt number as well as your online access code. This allowed me to find when my biometrics was scheduled.

    Just wanted to give an update on our case. Our I-485 packet was received at the Chicago Lockbox (UPS) on April 17th. We received the 797 notice of receipt on June 6th. After receiving the receipt, we went online and created an account on MyUSCIS and added the case. We looked at the case and it looked like biometrics was already scheduled. We were able to download the biometrics appointment. Hope this gives everyone a bit of hope that you should get your notice soon!
