  1. I have the same question to be honest, been married for 3 years, I am the USA citizen wife, and me and my husband share finances, but it’s hard to prove it when you live in 2 different countries. He has a debt card to my checking account that he uses to take money out when needed for bills, rent, I tried to get my self on his account in his country and I can’t because I am don’t have residency their, and he can’t be added here on the account other then a POD , I have sent money using western union to him for rent when he lost the debt card one time before I could send him the new card. We are just waiting for the scheduling of our IR1 visa interview. I am just at a loss what to provide as finance proof, I can show all the debit card transactions but I also use the card when I am there every other month. Please don’t go after me for being the main provider, it’s normal for the country he is in to not have much income or if he does work the company’s lie and don’t pay.
  2. Sadly at this times some lawyers only want easy cases that we all can do on our own , if somethings are difficult they don’t want to take the case or say a ridiculous amount to pay. No one will fight for you the way you will fight for yourself keep going . No one will tell your story better than you yourself.
  3. We had the same reaction from the officer, but we saw each other 2 times before getting engaged, I suggest try to see each other as much as you can. Don’t give them any other reason for denial. Take photos from your trips if you took some. It’s hard and emotional to go through this process especially after a refusal. Keep your head up. do try to be at the interview for the spouse visa even if they ask you to wait outside. Good luck
  4. That’s what happened to us but we did not wait for the petition to be returned, right after the interview we knew the case was dead as soon as the officer said petition will be returned. ( trust me we gave a good fight with the embassy) lol , We quickly planned a wedding and got married in his country within a month. I returned to the USA and withdraw the petition. And refilled for a spouse visa. We did not wait for any notice from uscis or anything. It took them about 9 or so months to send us the same notice you got. The best thing is we already had our new petition refilled. We now are at the NVC stage.
  5. That’s for sure , this is our second rodeo with my husbands visa. Hopefully no questions come up lol
  6. Our I130 was approved on September 30,2022. Got email from NVC that case is ready and to pay fees today October 3, 2022. How is that so fast ? I am not complaining but want to know if it’s normal.
