    @NorthByNorthwest I have tons of shoes ( 80 pairs) and clothes, they are all over 1 year old. Do you think that would be a problem at CBP? Thank you.

    Also I have so many pairs of shoes and lots of clothes (they are all more than 1 year old) CBP won’t think I’m bringing them in the US to sell them, will they?

    Thank you @Moda25 and Thank you all for sharing. my visa was issued on May 30th. Passport June 6th. Nov 13th 2022 - Submitted petition April 5th 2024 - interview in London (CO requested me to re-upload a divorce doc on CEAC as she could not see it in her system) May 30th 2024 - visa issued June 6th 2024 - passport arrived

    Dear all, Does anyone know : 1. If we have to pay any fee to the U.S. customs please. (Or any fees at all besides shipping cost you paid the shipping company) My stuff are personal effects, ie clothes, shoes, handbags, plates, bowls, pots, and pans owned more than 1 year. Should be 11 boxes in total. 2. Do we put on our packing list e.g. box 1 winter coat x 5 = $250 (do we declare in $?) 3. Did you have to state how long you have those items in your possession ? 4. I am using used boxes e.g. ones used by Amazon. Will this be ok ? Thank you so much.

    Good afternoon all, I am trying to understand the process of RoC. Please correct me if I am wrong. After filing an I-751, you will receive a 48 months extension letter which serves as proof of permanent residency for work or travel for 4 year from the expiration of the old card. If it gets close to the end of the 4 year and the application is still pending, or you lose the letter, you can go in and get an I-551 stamp which will do the same thing. Thank you all.

    Thank you @appleblossom for sharing with me. Oh good it shows more of my details on here now. So no envelope, thank you. My interviewed was April 5th, showed 'Issued' yesterday, received email "U.S. DoS Visa system return travel document shipment notice" today. I live in Jersey Channel Island but I really hope I will get my passport back next week as I need to hand in my notice at work. Once all done, I will put my timeline on here hoping it will help others in the future.
