Well I don't have time to go into my story right now, but I do want to let people know, since this was a big concern for us, is that we were able to get a K1 visa for my Albanian fiance at our interview at the Naples, Italy consulate while he was living illegally in Italy. I don't know if it would be the same for others but they never asked him about his status in Italy.
