I guess we will see

Strange, I applied in April and it started at 14 months, then 12 then 9 and last month it went to 4 and this month 3. I just cant imagine that is correct based on what everyone else is sayina and I am waiting to log in to see it jump back up again. I want to saee what it says next month, if it says 2 months then I will begin to believe the trend.

really? I mean I dont really have a clue what to expect anymore. Peoples timeline and approval times are all over the place depending on what center has it, when/if they filed the k3, and the personal circumstance of each case. I was told to totally ignore the timeline estimate they provide on the website but it has consistently gone down each month and is the only thing that giveas me any hope...but it is WAY off the estimates that i see from people on the internet so who the heck really knows?

Just curious of those that have filed the I-130 in March, how many of you have also filed for the K-3?

It looks like the site isn't showing classes at all this weekend. You are likely in the same basket as the rest of us... And based on what people are saying this may not be the last time that cases disappear from the site temporarily.

Based on the responses here I think I need to turn off my brain for a few days

Hello, I just want to know if this is something to be alarmed about. I logged into my USCIS Account to upload a document and the entire case is gone. I can see my previous k1 case but the current case just isnt there. I tried a private browser, tried to add it but I dont have an online access code so I am wondering what cound be the reason it just fell off the map. Anyone seen this before?

Hi and thanks in advance for any advice or tips. My now wife and I originally filed for the k-1/k-2 visa and were approved. She and my step son came to the US December 2023 after the approval. She loved it here, he HATED it here, did not adjust well and long story short we had to take him back home to live with her family. We explored other options like me taking him back home and leaving her here but there were some concerns about a foriegner traveling alone with him in the philippines, she didnt have a family member here that could travel back with him and we were not going to send him unaccompanied. So she unfortunately had to leave to take him back home. While I'm sure many will say that we should have made him wait and then filed for the parole adjustment but you will just have to trust me, that would not have worked so we made the decision that we did. He just wasnt doing well here in the states. We never broke up, never withdrew anything as we didnt feel there there was any need to. We just planned to get married later than we originally anticipated. She did leave before the k-1 expired so there would be no problems with overstaying her visa, we are now going to have to go back through the long, hard process of filing for the cr-1. We did get married via the Utah online process but I went there to the Philippines for us to be together with her and her family during the ceremony. We could not get married the tradional way in the philippines because I could not get away from work long enough to meet their guidelines to legally marry there. So now we are legally married, filed CR-1, ROM, etc and are concerned about them asking why we are doing this again and didnt just get married when she was here. As simple as it may sound no-one can walk in your shoes when trying to make such a difficult decision. We dont want them to deny us and we cant imagine what kind of RFE we could get since they have all of our previous records on file. In fact I wish (of course not) that it would expedite the case having already been approved and familiar with our file. I searched for a similar case on here but couldnt find one. If anyone can give us a little insight as to what to anticipate or if we should anticipate delays due to the unusual nature of our filing we would appreciate it.

I was just looking at this yesterday and was told that you cannot get married in the philippines on a short trip. One person even used the words illegal. I think you have to go to the counseling, then register then wait 3 weeks to get a date from the judge. You also are supposed to have something called a capacity to marry certificate (I think that is what it is called) but since the US doesnt issue then you have to write an affidavit with the same info BUT you have to get an appointment at the embassy to have it notarized...and the appointments are at least a few weeks out unless you get lucky and someone cancels. One of the experts can jump in and clarify if I am wrong. Good luck
